I took a very bad cold last night - am feeling badly from it today - we will still eat with Mr. Pinnock today - the 3 services were attended will. Mr. Wooding preached in a.m. I in p.m. & Mr. W. at night - good-night S & S A very rainy morning - we ate breakfast & all meals at home our old home is now having its roof taken off and bigins to look somewhat delapidated - but we have already began to feel somewhat at home. I worked hard this a.m. putting up our dish closet, it looks O.K. We are considerably crowded but will make out O.K. I think - We had some nice fresh oranges & green corn today - quite a treat. My cold is still bad, but I work to get better - I shall have to make a room on one end of my verandah in order to have room for things which are needed for the house. Our Kitchen is a small house outside. It was some distance from the house but I have moved it and is now only a step from the dining room - I had a lot of men pick it up & carry it. Still fixing up around to try & live comfortable getting things in good shape - thanks - Cold not yet well. Still arranging things I take a look at the tearing down of the house occasionally - to see that all goes well. It is a rainy day. My turn for Congo service tonight but I deputized a boy to do it for me, as a bad hoarseness - I thought would be the better for staying indoors & letting Sophie read to me. Nothing of importance has taken place - heavy rain - we are having heavy rain every day now - as the wet season is drawing to a close then we will have no rain for 4 months. Mr. Wooding held the Accra service tonight. Lovely a.m., p.m. bad & rainy - no school - Yes after the storm & as Sophie is runing the school this week she con-cluded not to be stopped by a little rain - so school went on - I was called in to see a sick man and gave him some nourishments.
