Thursday Mar. 17 - 1898 More rain - but the ground soon dries up. Mrs. Wooding & Mrs. Crowley are now running the school. Mrs. Graham is kept out on account of the illness of her husband. They are getting on nicely however. Mr. Pinnock had the English prayer meeting tonight. Friday Mar. 18 - 1898 More rain today - good school - all well but Mr. Graham-he is better thank God. Capt Cremonini came in on the express tonight. No mail. Saturday Mar. 19 - 1898 Considerable rain during night, & some this a.m. Sophie feels exceedingly well and has been renovating things generally - a lovely day - a visit from Cremonini. We are now reading church History together. We enjoy it very much. Cremonini wants to buy my house. I may sell it good-night. A pleasant Lord's day. Sunday Mar. 20 - 1898 A bright beautiful morning and everything is as lovely as can be. I forgot to mention that on Friday & Saturday a.m. we made some exceedingly nice guava jelly - Oh it is delicious. I wish we could send some home to our parents & friends. I'm sure they would enjoy eating it. But it would be rather difficult, and they will have to take the wish for the deed. This a.m. Mr. Pinnock had the Congo service and a very large no. of boys were in attendance. Mr. Graham still ill. He does not seem to get better and he and Mrs. Graham are speaking of going home soon. In the p.m. Mr. Morgan had the English service for the Accras. At night I had the service at Mr. Wooding's house Mr. & Mrs. Graham & Mrs. Crowley being absent on account of indisposition good night - pleasant dreams. Monday Mar. 21 - 1898 This a.m. I arose a little earlier than usual & found two caravans at my door. I sent a parcel to Mr. & Mrs. Sheppard & Dr. Snyder I turned over the caravans to the A.B.M.U. to take loads for Dr. Sims. I have no loads now today Cremonini came & I drew the plan of the house & submitted it to him I offered it for 5000 francs or $1000 Dollars. I don't know whether he will buy or not. Mr. Graham better. It rained at the school hour, so postponed. No new happenings. Good night.
