I sent bros Morrison & Verner lists of all the goods sent up. I now send you two lists - of all that I have sent since that time. You can check up & give one list to Verner or Morrison- as you like - Caravan 155 D.W.S. case 100 -A.P.C.M. 17½ bags salt - car - 156-19½ bags salt. Car. 159 Snyder 466-451-83. Thomas 16-5-15 car. 158 - W.M.M., Bales 550/561. Car. 159-Snyder 84-85-102 T.R.-562/563-W.M.M. 467/468 4 whole Bags salt. Caravan 160-W.M.M. 6 whole bags salt & 4½ bags salt. Two of Morrisons bags were completely destroyed, so I made up the deficiency by sending him 4 bags of my salt. All the salt that I have sent up, marked Crowley is for Luebo Station, and you had better keep it in charge, and whenever any one has a bag charge it to him or her, the invoice price is only ½ fran I paid some bills for Verner not long since of salt bot at Kinschassa and he paid 50 francs per bag. That same salt ought to be worth at Luebo to the natives 90 or 100 francs. I should always make the price of my goods, the same as the traders - and more where they are more difficult to get. I am sending your tobacco in with a package for Mr. Sheppard. I have not bo't it yet, but expect to in time for the 4ᵗʰ of April Dutch Boat. The tob. has not been here, that is the reason I have not sent it. Everything moving on nicely-all loads gone. Ive been very fortunate.
