Crowley Friday Feb. 11 - 1898 We have been very busy this day getting of the mails. Nothing of interest happened. We are both well. I had some caravans come in for their pay. I be't some chicken and other "chop" - this word "chop" is a famous word in Congo. Everybody uses it. It answers for Breakfast, din ner & supper - anything in the way of food is comprehende in it. Saturday Feb. 12 - 1898 Another uneventful day in our history - some more carrier paid them off and let them go. I found that a caravan which I got from C.B.M. left their loads at Kimpeti a town 3 days from here. I allowed another caravan to go & get the loads & carry them on. both well. Sunday Feb. 13, 1898 Another Sabbath has rolled around, and brought with it th[illegible: 1 character] usual blessings. Our Sundays are a great blessing to us. We are taken away from the busy cares of the week and are more free to give our time to spiritual things Preaching to the Congo boys in the morning, to the Accra & Sierra Leone men in the afternoon, and to the missionaries themselves at night. Between times we find time for rest & reading. So today we had the usual services. And tonight Mr. & Mrs. Crowley had the pleasure of the evening servic[illegible: 1 character] in their house (A.F.C.M.) Of course this happens once every three weeks. But it is always a pleasure. Mr. Graham read us a nice little lecture, or rather one
