Menday Sept. 25 - 99

This a.m. at 5 o'cleck I went down to see Mr. W. & found
him in Haematuria. He get aleng nicely through the day ~
I attended te everything there was te de both for him &
myself. I stayed with him until about 11 ©'cleck p.m.
Came home & retired ~ set my alarm fer 4 e'cleck se as
te awake & run dewn & see him.

Tuesday Sept. 26 - 99

At 3 e'cleck this a.m. I went dewn te see him & found
his temperature about the seme - otherwise doing nicely
ne pain Haematuria still en. I stayed with him until

5 e'cleck, then went eut te give the beys work &c After
breakfast I went in again & spent the whele day, except
what time I was eut to telephone fer the Decter. About
3 pm. the Dector came Dr. Villa, Italian Consul - & he
preneunced him very well - enly very weak - and advised
him as seen as he became able te travel te go te the
beach ~ I was with him all the time and at 11 e'cleck
pem. his temp kept about the sane 103°.

Wednesday Sept. 27 - 99 Leepeldville

I stayed with Mr. Weelling all night, this a.m. his urine
was quite clear. Haematuria gone. I thought he was
getting en nicely & he felt quite well only het with
fever. In the afterneen I saw that he was much weaker,
but I, & he, theught it was ewing te the Haematuria
passing eff. I made arrangments to have the bed made &
then I lefted carefully. This pom. late Mr. & Mrs.
Gerden & baby ceme ever. Mr. Gerden called in and

theught he was getting on nicely. I stayed with Mr. W.

Thursday Sept 28 - 99

This merning Mr. Gerden came in and talked with Mr.

Weelling a little and then went te Kinshasa I kept
