I sent for Kwanga today but received none so the State

I sent a bey over te the boat very early this a.m. with a
letter for Mr. Morgan. Later I sent boys ever te Mr.
Gerdons for Kwanga, as he had a quantity. I ree'd 50

Friday Sept. 15 - 99

I had notice today that Ville @'Anvers would leave Lee
en Monday for Lusambe and Luebo se I wrete letters to
send, and alse fixed up the parcel of beeks sent out by
Mr. Verner and alse a translation by him, which I hepe
te send by the beat, as I can't send leads I must send
something. I went to see the Commissaire and tried to
impress upen him that this was the beat I needed leads
on but he would not permit as Ville de Bruxelles would
be going in less than a week, so I have te be content.
