Tuesday Mar. 22 - 1898

I got Cremonini etarted of with his shimbeck & now he
does not come so often ~ the rest of the day occupied in
various kinds of work.

Wednesday Mar. 23 - 98
. The ordinary rounds of work this a.m. - wrote some letters
\ &e. JI held the midweek prayer meeting with the boys in
the chapel. Nothing of importance happened.

Thursday Mar. 24 - 98

Great preparations for the outgoing mails for Europe
tomorrow - Am busy with statements for committee &c. I
held the Accra service tonight - not a very large congre-
ation.

Friday Mar. 25 - 98

Am trying to fix up a machine for grinding corn - then we
will have corn bread, & Johnny cake - this p.m. at 5 o'clod
the European mails close. ~ The Fortugees mails came in
tonight & brought letters from Mother Wright & Sister Flor
also the Outlook & a Boston newspaper & the Christian
Observer. We have a feast now.

Saturday Mar. 26

Chop is scarce. We have to hustle to get anything good to
eat, but we manage to live. At the market there was
nothing much - some lovely guavas however. I bo't a nice
basket. JI shall call it a market basket. Mr. & Mrs.
Graham expects to go home in a few weeks, and during the
year will probably go to Broklin where they will stay
several menths. Good-night.

Sunday Mar. 27 - 1898

Morning service held by Mr. Wooding. Mr. Finnock the p.m.
service - & Mr. Wooding at night at our house. The day
passed off very nicely.

Monday Mar. 28 - 98

I did some work on my tooks, turned over a caravan of 15
men to A.B.M.U. - wrote Ir. Sims a litter - sent mail to
Luebo. Am looking for Mr. O.Raskin Director Congolia to
come & buy our house. ~ train arrived early. no mails.
