W.uM. 467/468 4 whole Bags salt. caravan 160-WMM 6
whole bags salt & 44 bags salt. Two of Morrisons bags
were completely destroyed, so I made up the deficiency by
sending him 4 bags of my salt.

All the salt that I have
sent up, marked Crowley is for Luebo Station, and you had
better keep it in charge, and whenever any one once a bag
charge it to him or her, the invoice price is only + fran
I paid some bills for Verner not long since of salt bot
at Kinschassa and he paid 50 francs per bag. That same
salt ought te be worth et Luebo to the natives 90 er 100
france. I should always make the price of my goods, the
same as the traders ~ and more where they are more diffi-
cult to get. i am sending your tobacco in with ea package
for Mr. Sheppard. I have not bo't it yet, but expect to
in time for the 4th of April Dutch Beat. The tob. has
not been here, that is the reason I have not sent it.
Everything moving on nicely-all loads gone. Ive been
very fortunate. I have two large cases from S.I1. for you
I shall send up later when convenient. I sent a small
case up by carriers. With Love to all - and regards from
all the missionaries here. I am your bro. In Christ.
Mrs. C. sends kindest regards to you & the others. Yours
