Friday Feb. 11 - 1898

We have been very busy this day getting of the mails.
Nething of interest happened. We are both wells I had
seme caravans come in fer their pay. I be't seme chicken
and ether "chop" - this werd "chop" is a famous word in
Conge. Everybody uses it. It answers fer Breakfast, din

ner & supper - anything in the way of feed is comprehende
in it.

Saturday Feb. 12 - 1898

Another uneventful day in our histery - some mere carrier
paid them off and let them ge. I found that a caravan
which I got from 0.B.M. left their leads at Kimpeti a
tewn 3 days from here. I allowed anether caravan te go &
get the leads & carry them en. beth well.

Sunday Feb. 13, 1898

Another Sabbath has relled around, and breught with it thi
usual blessings. Our Sundays are a great blessing to us.
We are taken away frem the busy cares of the week and are
more free to give eur time te spiritual things Preaching
te the Cenge beys in the morning, to the Accra & Sierra
Leone men in the afterneon, and to the missionaries them-
selves at night. Between times we find time for rest &
reading. So today we had the usual services. And tonigh
Mr. & Mrs. Crowley had the pleasure of the evening servic
in their house (A.F.C.M.) Of course this happens once
every three weeks. But it is always a pleasure. Mr.
Graham read us a nice little lecture, or rather one
