Monday June qth 'O7

I went over the B.M.S. & found one of my ducks with 17
nice little young ones. I drove then home & later on
Mr. Pinock came in search of them & claimed them but
they were mine & I kept them. I had ancther duck with 4
just a little older which I took & placed with then
making 21 in one lot. Nothing much has happened today.

Another quiet day nothing of importance.

Wednesday June gth 197

On the Express tonight Mr. & Mrs. Weeks, Mr. & Mrs.
Kirkland Miss Grenfell all of B.M.S. By the way Mr.
Grenfell is an old missionary & has a negro (native) wife.
Miss Vigart of A.B.M.U. who is engaged & will be married
as soon as she arrives at Stanley Pool. Mr. & Mrs.
Graham of 5S. Salvador are here & Mr. G is representative
of BMS. 5 men came in for the Duteh House too 4 go

up river & one remain here.

Thursday June 10t 'O7

This asme Captain Cremonimi sent for me to go & see him.
I found him very ill. The Dr. had been there but I went
to work & nursed him - I went to see him several times
during the day. His urine was very dark & he got scared.
He says if I had not been there he would have

I stayed with him during the night & gave him medicine

& kept him from having a return of fever.

Friday June 11°? 1897
I went to see the capt. & stayed with him all day &

chopped at Belgika. He was much better Thanks to the
Lord.

Saturday June 12th 197

I went to see the capt. this a.m. & found him much better
about 9 o'clock he got up & seems quite well. I went
over to the Duteh House & D'Angremond paid me 134 francs.
68 for some beef I sold him & 66 for Mr. Hill I sold 5
goats. I helped him write up some tickets & stayed & had
dinner with him. In the pem.e I took some paper & went
down to Ohelensechager & he came back with me & afterwards
D'A came up & I had to go & chop with them while at the
table D'A. said he would not invite me again as I was
